Samsung is excited to announce that the new Samsung GALAXY Tab is now on sale in Australia just in time for the Christmas gift giving season.

The Samsung GALAXY Tab, a multi-purpose tablet with a super bright 7-inch touch screen. It combines PC-like web browsing, email, full multimedia capability (including Flash animation), social networking, and the versatility of thousands of downloadable apps*.

Most importantly, it's still a mobile phone, giving you voice and video calls and SMS/MMS functions. Note: voice calls can be conducted through a Bluetooth headset^ or the built-in speakerphone.

Built on the latest Android 2.2 Operating System and utilising Samsung's advanced TouchWiz 3.0 interface, the Galaxy Tab will give you an engaging and easy to use touch screen experience.
