Samsung’s new DV300F dual screen camera gets smart

The DV300F is Samsung’s 5th generation dual screen camera featuring a screen on the back and the front. Now it has some added smarts – with wireless networking for easy sharing of your photos between compatible devices as well.

With Samsung’s unique front and rear screen (Dual View) technology, it allows for self portraits, groups shots and more in a snap, allowing the photographer to also be part of the photo. With the addition of wireless networking (WiFi) connectivity to add the smarts, it’s the kind of camera that will suit people who take photos with their friends and family and like to share it on social networking sites and more*. Out with a group of friends at the club – the photos can be uploaded before the end of the night.

• Dual-view 3’’ Rear + 1.5’’ Front LCD Screen: See the image while you take it. With the handy front screen, the photographer can also join in on the shot. 
• Sharing & Saving with Wi-Fi Connectivity*: With Built-in Wi-Fi capability, you can share special and exciting moments on the move. Share photos by uploading to Facebook™, Picasa™, Photobucket™ or email to friends and family directly from the camera. Users can also upload videos to YouTube.
• Wireless PC Auto Backup: Select the PC Auto Back up icon on the camera, the DV300F will try and find your PC wireless network and download your photos and videos straight to the PC. No more messy cables (one-time initial setup to connect to wireless network is required).
• Picture in Picture: Take one picture, set the size and position and take the second image or movie clip. The camera inserts the second file into the first to finish the “whole” picture
• Bright F2.5 Lens: F2.5 means this lens is highly sensitive to light and will take great quality images in low light conditions.
• 16 Megapixels: bring out the details in photos with 16 megapixels of resolution
• Live Panorama View: Press and hold the shutter, sweep the camera and the camera creates a sweeping panorama photo as you take it.
