Samsung’s Latest 2View Camera – One-Step Connectivity to Social Networking

 

LAS VEGAS – January 10, 2012 – Samsung Electronics Australiatoday unveiled a new addition to its 2View range the DV300F. With this launch, the company continues to cement its position with Dual LCD technology with Wi-Fi connectivity for camera users who want to snap and share moments in an instant.

The Samsung DV300F builds on the success of Samsung’s 2View technology, with a 1.5” front LCD screen display, to ensure users can be confident of doing justice to even the most challenging shot, whether they are behind or in front of the lens. Additional features including the Children animation mode keeps young children in focus, and the visual Self Timer so everyone can be included in the picture without the panic.

In response to evolving consumer demands for maximum creativity and shareability, the DV300F 2View model to offers Wi-Fi enabled technology, enabling users to email their images or upload them to Facebook, Picasa, Flickr and YouTube in an instant. User’s images save onto a microSD memory card, which can then be wirelessly connected to a compatible home PC and download instantly. Alternatively, they can also take advantage of integrated free storage space from Samsung’s AllShare Play and Microsoft SkyDrive to make their photo accessible anywhere with Wi-Fi

For appearance-conscious consumers on the look-out for sophisticated design and exceptional quality, the latest model comes in shimmering metallic colours, including mock black, combined with a sleek, seamless and rounded outer contour for ease-of-use and ultimate style. None of this comes at the expense of image quality. On the contrary, the DV300F boasts an impressive 16 Megapixels, 5x optical zoom and 25mm wide-angle lens to capture all the action even from a distance.

Get Creative with Magic Frame and Picture-in-Picture Shot

The DV300F is crammed full of fun features to maximise the user’s enjoyment. The Magic Frame feature includes 12 fun background templates, as well as the ability to create poster-quality art – perfect for sharing or hanging on walls around the home or office. The camera’s Picture-in-Picture function, meanwhile, lets users insert one image with another. The camera can also combine a still picture with a video clip and be instantly uploaded to YouTube or other popular social networking sites.

Maximise Enjoyment with Latest Photo Shot Features

With Split Shot, users can merge up to three different images to create their very own artistic masterpiece– they can even import pictures from other cameras. The fun doesn’t stop there - Funny Face allows users to add goofy grins, comical noses or even crazy eyes to shots of friends and family and comes in eight different modes.

The new Artistic Brush feature can instantly take a portrait or landscape shot, or even a movie clip and transform it into a black and white sketch or full colour version. The DV300F can show off user’s artistic creation via the camera’s LCD, or simply by uploading their creation to social networking sites or YouTube to ensure everyone can take a look at their creative masterpiece or latest profile picture with a twist.

Finally, the model also includes Motion Photo, so that - just like in the latest Hollywood blockbuster - users can freeze time around a moving subject for dramatic effect. For example, the DV300F allows users to capture a friend jumping in the park and keep everyone else around them as still as statues.

The Samsung DV300F cameras will be available at RRP $199.00 respectively, due in March from 2012.
