Capture amazing images with a simple push of a button on the lens
Introducing the NX100, a new product in Samsung’s leading NX range that lets you achieve professional quality images even if you’re a beginner. This model is another mirrorless interchangeable lens camera (you can remove and change the lenses just like a DSLR camera) and by taking out the mirror we have made it small and compact – just like a normal point and shoot style camera.
The great new feature on the NX100 is a handy one-press setting button on the lens called i-Function. When you press the i-Function, you can access the key settings such as aperture, shutter speed, and ISO instantly that let you experiment with your photos. You simply press i-Function to access the control and then turn the focus ring on the lens to adjust the setting.
The NX100 is a 14.6 megapixel camera that comes with the powerful APS-C CMOS sensor. This is the same image sensor that is used on the award-winning Samsung NX10 and by having a larger image sensor (compared to the micro 4/3 sensor used in competing models), you are assured of amazing image quality that will take your photos to the next level of “awesomeness”.
Throw in the ability to shoot high definition video with the same camera and the NX100 is a truly versatile performer for capturing all of your precious memories.
So that you can easily see the subject that you are shooting, the NX100 comes with a 3-inch AMOLED rear display. This gives you amazing screen brightness and vibrant colours so that you can use the camera in bright light, while only using a fraction of the battery power compared to conventional LCD screens. This means you can keep shooting for longer on a single battery charge.
The NX100 also continues on the whole NX theme of “compactness”. The body of the camera resembles a typical compact point and shoot camera and has been ergonomically designed so that it sits easily in your hands. It’s also a lightweight (only in weight terms) at only 282 grams making it the kind of camera that can be carried all day long.
The NX 100 will be a popular choice and comes with a 30MM fixed lens option and a 20-50mm F3.5~5.6 lens option plus a complete range of accessories (sold separately) including external flash, click on electronic viewfinder and more.
