Just when you thought TV was good…

It’s about to get better! Here’s a sneak peak of the new Samsung Series 7, Series 8 and Series 9 LCD TV’s that are about to hit the market and they will take LCD TV to a completely new level.

 

First, the Series 7. This unit is the first in the line up of our premium models that feature a beautiful deep red crystal design bezel, a 70,000:1 dynamic contrast, and a host of new features such as:

  • Wiselink Pro - a USB port on the TV enabling playback of digital music, photos and videos from your USB connected devices (MP3 Player, digital camera, USB thumb drive etc)
  • Contents Library – a feature where the TV has 8GB of internal memory and is loaded with a library of useful family content such as fitness tips, recipes, games and children’s activities
  • InfoLive™ (RSS feed) – this is the ability for the TV to connect the Internet and stream regularly updated information through RSS feeds such as news headlines, weather forecasts and share prices to the TV screen
  • DLNA – with an Ethernet port on the back of the TV, it enables you to connect the TV to a computer network and share your media (pictures, music and videos) from your PC directly to your TV

These features are part of the Samsung Media Solution.

 

Series 8

If you want slim, then the Series 8 is definitely the model you’re after, a step up in design featuring a depth of only 44.4mm thick. The Series 8 is a beautiful deep crystal red design with accentuated edges. It also has a 70,000:1 dynamic contrast, and the features of the Samsung Media Solution. The series 8 is a stunning looking TV.

 


Series 9

The Series 9 is the high-end premium model and represents the next generation of LCD TV’s. The unit features a black crystal design bezel which when you look up close produces an almost 950_image_glass.jpgcarbon fibre look – it is absolutely stunning! This TV also introduces next generation Smart LED lighting which enables the unit to independently control the levels of backlighting

according to what is displayed on screen. So if it’s displaying the credits from a movie, only the writing is backlit and the rest of the panel remains dark. Using LED lighting results in an unrivalled 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast. This means that not only blacks and whites look good but colour reproduction is also fantastic, grass looks like grass and not astro-turf. 

 

The Series 9 also incorporates the features of the Samsung Media Solution (Wiselink Pro, Contents Library, InfoLive™ (RSS feed) and DLNA). The Series 9 is for consumers who want the absolute cutting-edge of TV technology.
